Srixon ZX5 Mk II Steel Irons
ZX5 MK11
Srixon continue to impress with their latest clubs the ZX5 Mk II Irons, the clubs are suited to mid to low handicap golfers looking to improve their game. The cavity back design with narrow top line come with a good selection of the latest custom shafts in steel or graphite.
MAIN FRAME
The next generation Srixon irons aim to improve the Coefficient of Restitution (cor) by taking away the mass from the face of the club lowering it to the sole and toe areas making for a lower centre of gravity and improved transfer energy.
PROGRESSIVE GROOVES
Looking to improve longer iron play Srixon have added wider grooves on their longer irons 3I-7i. With the shorter irons the grooves have been cut deeper closer set adding more spin to shot and approach shots around the greens. More consistency throughout the set give a balanced feel to the set.
PLAYERS DISTANCE IRON SHAPE
As with all the new MK11 range when looking down in the address position the top line will have the same top line thickness throughout the set. The ZX5 features a slightly broader sole outline with a standard medium blade length with .Progressive off set starts at 40 millimetres on the 3 iron down to 15 on the Sand wedge.
FORGED MULTI-PIECE CONSTRUCTION
ZX5’s forged SUP10 faces are strong yet light—increasing face-flex at impact for explosive distance—while a forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for great feel. Then, high-density tungsten in the sole of ZX5’s long and mid Irons adds stability on off-centre shots—helping to keep speed and spin consistent—and lowers CG for improved launch.
