Lamkin grips
E B Lamkin founded the Lamkin Grip Company in Chicago Illinois in 1925, making it the USA's first manufacturer of grips for golf clubs. The company quickly grew, making the leather wraps for the country’s golf club manufacturers and became the major supplier of grips.
Lamkin were the first to introduce the combination of leather and rubber grips in 1963, using injection moulding techniques for more accurate grips.
